- Colour the beef in the hot vegetable oil until golden brown.
- In a separate pan,sweat the onions and corriander.
- The onions should be pinkish.
- Add the fried onions to the pan containing the beef.
- Add in the stock or water.
- The water should cover the beef barely.
- Cover it with a lid.
- Let it cook until the water reduces.
- Add in the beer,this helps in enhancing the flavour.
- Cover and cook until the beef is tender.
- Correct the seasoning.
- Serve while warm with a portion of braised rice.
